I also draw from inner child work, Trauma-Focused CBT, mindfulness, and somatic therapy. When it feels supportive, we may weave in breathwork, sound healing, or spiritual practices, always alongside clinical therapy, never in place of it.

What to expect

  • We go slowly. Complex trauma asks your nervous system to learn something brand new: safety. Small shifts lead to big changes.

  • You don’t have to retell everything. We move at a pace that feels safe, and you’re always in control of what we explore.

  • You’ll be believed. Your experiences are real, and you’ll never be dismissed here.

  • I’ll be in your corner. I’ll help you notice what’s working and how far you’ve come.

You are not stuck. Healing is possible.

I know, because I’ve lived it. Let’s take the first small step together.

Complex Trauma & IFS Therapy

Gentle, body-based therapy for adults who are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling safe in their own skin. In-person in Millcreek and by telehealth across Utah.

Does this sound familiar?

You understand why you are the way you are, but the same patterns keep showing up. Maybe you:

  • Feel anxious, on edge, or shut down without knowing why

  • Struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, or a harsh inner critic

  • Grew up in a home where you never fully felt safe or seen

  • Feel disconnected from your body or your emotions

  • Have tried therapy before and still feel stuck

If so, nothing is wrong with you. These patterns often began as brilliant ways to stay safe when you were young. They just haven’t learned yet that you’re not in danger anymore.

How we’ll work together

My approach centers on somatic-based Internal Family Systems (IFS), also called parts work. Together, we’ll get curious about the parts of you that carry pain, fear, or shame, and the protective parts that have worked so hard to keep you safe. As those parts finally feel heard, they begin to soften, and you get to experience your calm, compassionate Self leading the way.
